Picking Up Students Early
If it is necessary for you to pick up your child during the day, you will need to visit the school office first to register in the "sign out" book. You will then be given a slip which is to be given to the classroom teacher when you pick up your child. |
Absences
Whilst absences can be phoned through to the school, a written note, signed by the parent or guardian, explaining the reason for the absence must be given to the clasroom teacher when the child returns. |
Parking
The school car park is for staff use only. Please ensure that children are not dropped off in this area. Children should not use the car park to enter or exit the school at any time. Please be aware of the bus zone in front of the school, the 40kph speed limit around the school and the "Kiss & Drop" zone on Pueblo Street. |
Travel
Whilst many children walk to school, we have 2 school buses - one for the local area & the other to service the Kincumber area. Information on the bus routes & bus passes (swipe cards) can be obtained from the school office or Busways. Children who ride bikes to school are expected to wear helmets & to obey road rules. A parking area for bikes is located near the library |
Emergencies
It is most important that the office has an up to date list of Emergency Contact Numbers for each student so that a close relative or family friend can be easily contacted in the case of an Emergency.
If you have an urgent message which needs to be relayed to your child during the day, please contact the school office staff.
Please Note: If you have arranged to pick your child up and are going to be late - please give the school a courtesy call.
